Refund Policy

All ticket sales are final. Tickets must be exchanged at least 24 hours prior to your chosen performance, except in case of a medical emergency. Tickets may be exchanged for a different performance of the same show if seats are available, but not a different show.  If exchange is not possible, and if contacted within 7 days of the final performance of the missed show, WRP will provide a letter of donation for tax purposes in the amount of the ticket purchase price. Please contact the theatre’s business office at (330) 620-7314.

Handicapped Accessible Seating

WRP offers handicapped accessible seating. Accessible seating (including companion seats) is limited and is available on the front row only. Accessible seating may only be purchased by phone, or in person on a first-come, first-served basis. Only one companion seat is permitted per party. It is highly suggested you call in advance to reserve accessible seating. Please know that in order to purchase a companion seat, a handicapped accessible seat must be selected within the same transaction. Patrons must inform the box office of specific accessibility needs at the time of ticket purchase. Our primary concern is the safety and comfort of every guest. The rest of your party will be seated as nearby as possible. Handicapped accessible seats will be sold to the general public in the event that all other non accessible seats have sold out.

Late Arrivals

Theatre performances at WRP begin promptly at the posted time.  Out of respect for the actors, support staff, and patrons, we make every effort to begin on time. With this in mind, theatre guests arriving later than 5 minutes before the published show time may forfeit their tickets and those seats will be released to standby guests. There are no refunds. Please keep this in mind when making dinner reservations prior to your performance. Plan accordingly to enjoy your meal and travel to the theatre so you do not arrive late and miss the show.

Disruption to on-time patrons will be considered before any late arriving patrons, whose seats have not been released may be seated at the House Manager’s discretion. Seating may not be in originally purchased seats. Late arriving patrons may not be able to be seated until between Acts or Intermission depending on the confines of the production on stage.

Children

Every guest must have a ticket for a designated purchased seat. There are no exceptions. Children must be able to sit quietly throughout the performance. Unless a performance is clearly geared to children, WRP recommends only bringing children age 5 or above to performances. Parents are advised to use their discretion when purchasing tickets for children. If you are unsure of the suitability of a particular show for children, please contact the theatre at (330) 620-7314 prior to purchasing tickets.

Show Cancellations

Performance cancellations due to inclement weather or other circumstances are very rare. When a performance must be cancelled, WRP will make every attempt to contact you to make arrangements for an alternate date or an alternate show. Please note: WRP does not offer refunds when a performance has taken place.

Theatre Etiquette

Due to the intimate size of our theatre, any noise may be disruptive to other patrons, as well as the actors on stage. Out of courtesy, we insist that all electronic devices (cell phones, pagers, watch alarms, etc.) be turned off before the start of the performance. Please note that videotaping performances is in direct violation of copyright laws.

Thank you for your understanding regarding these policies. It is the wish of Western Reserve Playhouse that every guest has a pleasant experience while enjoying high quality live theatre entertainment. If you have any questions, concerns, or would like additional information, please call the theatre at (330) 620-7314
