WRP Holiday $5 Series November 18, 2023 8:00 PM

Helps us bring in the Holiday Season with a two-night special event! On November 17 & 18, 2023 at 8pm, WRP is bringing back our popular $5.00 Bucks professional stage reading series!  Two staged readings performed for two nights and for only $5.00! 

We will start off with Thorton Wilder’s comedy:

The Long Christmas Dinner showcases the lives of several generations of the

Bayard family, and some of their Christmas dinners. Thornton Wilder breaks the

boundaries of time, and invites us to partake of “one long, happy Christmas dinner”-past, present and future.

Then a brief INTERMISSION and we are back with Larissa FastHorse’s comedy that just closed this year from her Broadway debut show: 

In The Thanksgiving Play, good intentions collide with absurd assumptions in

Larissa Fasthorse’s wickedly funny satire, as a troupe of terminally “woke”

teaching artists scrambles to create a pageant that will somehow manage to

celebrate both Turkey Day and Native American Heritage Month.
