Congratulations to the Casts of our Next TWO Musicals!

Coming up first, “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change” will be directed by Kevin Kelly and opening March 13th! This comedic musical is full of songs about “The Relationship,” and since we’re doing the 2018 Revised Edition, that means new songs and scenes!

Western Reserve Playhouse is proud to welcome back Emily Shipley (Heathers) and Ben Arrington (Assassins) to our stage! We’d also like to welcome our newest actors, Brian O. Jackson and Rebecca Riffle Polito!

And after that comes our second musical of 2020, “Violet” directed by Dawn Sniadak-Yamokoski, opening April 24th! This American Southern show stars a young woman with a facial scar, and her journey to find a preacher who can heal her.

We have a lot of returning actors for this show, including Ben Arrington, Jacob Gaspar, Tom Hill, Hannah Hilty (WRP Staff), Dennis Runkle, Rosalie Sajovie, August Scarpelli (WRP Staff), Michael Knobloch, Dayshawnda Ash, and Emily Shipley. WRP is excited to welcome its many new actors: Clara Edleman, Sarah Farris, Maggie Stahl, Nate Summers, and Karen Wood!

Congratulations to everyone above! Rehearsals have begun on “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change,” and it’ll open to the WRP stage soon! Stay tuned for info on “Violet,” an upcoming $5 Buck Series reading, and our next CaBARet Night!
