15 Apr Book to Broadway CaBARet

Western Reserve Playhouse presents:
“Book to Broadway”
Is your idea of a fun Friday night to enjoy a glass of wine and read a good book?
Join the CaBARet Ensemble at Western Reserve Playhouse to hear your favorite novels come to life with live music. Featuring acts from famous books turned to musicals, Book to Broadway is an introductory theatre experience where patrons can mingle amongst themselves and enjoy the bar being open throughout the show. Look forward to bringing books such as Alice in Wonderland, Jane Eyre, and Tuck Everlasting to life.
Additionally, as the night progresses, enjoy a game of Musical Madlibs and get the opportunity to throw off some of your favorite performers! The funniest Madlibs could get picked to be performed onstage. Get your tickets today to this one night only event!

Patrick Hanlon (CaBARet Coordinator) graduated from Robert Morris University with his Bachelors in Theatre Communications. He moved to Cleveland in 2016 to put his degree to use and was not slow about it. He started with working part time for French Creek Theatre, Playhouse Square, St. Igantius’s Breen Center, and Karamu House – doing various jobs such as House Manager, Box Office Attendant, and Season Ticket Services. He has brought his talents to WRP with the CaBARet Series. The CaBARet Series has brought you the Villains Cabaret (Feb 2020) and WRP’s Greatest Hits and Those That Should’ve Been Cabaret (Virtually October 2020). He is ecstatic to be kicking off this CaBARet season with a holiday one. This cabaret will feature songs from some of your favorite holiday classics that made its way to the stage. He thanks everyone and everything in life that has led him to where he is now. Special shout out to his lovely family of Braelin and Robert. Your endless support and love is the fuel I have even when I’m running on E.
David W. Coxe (Music Director) is pleased to be back at WRP! No stranger to local theater, he has just finished music directing Addams Family at Cassidy Theater and Little Women at Medina Showbiz. Some other shows he has music directed include Little Shop, Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Company, Guys and Dolls, Evita, among countless others. Dave lives in Lakewood with his wife Kimberly and when he’s not music directing, he’s an IT nerd working in the Financial Tech sector. David would like to thank Dawn for this wonderful opportunity to be a part of this wonderful production. He hopes you love it as much as he does!
